Rick Bashore

Mr. Bashore studied classical guitar and trumpet at Wright State University, with a major concentration in music theory and music education. Rick also runs specialized clinics at the University of Dayton and Dayton public schools. He has played with the Dayton Philharmonic, The Drifters, Bill Monroe, Dave Brubeck, Johnny Paycheck, Meryl Haggard and Emmylou Harris to name a few. Instruments: Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Harmonica

Tim Elliot

Tim received his B.S.B.A. from W.S.U. in 1971. He has taught privately since 1966; performs with various are ensembles; and directs the Englewood Civic Band. Instruments: Woodwinds

Gregg Hoffman

Graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Morehead State University in 1975 and has been on the road with Marvin Gaye, the Spinners, and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. An arranger, composer and dedicated music educator, Mr. Hoffman has been a private instructor at Dayton Band since 1980. Instruments: Brass

Jonathan Konanahalli

Jonathan earned a BA from the University of Dayton. He has performed at the Schuster Center Wintergardens, Memorial Hall, Fraze Pavilion, The Blue Ash Amphitheater, Pacchia, and Cafe Boulevard. He anchored the pulse for the Hauer Swing Band and the Hal Harris Orchestra.Jonathan founded and directed the band Smooth Renditions. He teaches drum set, bells, snare, and group percussion classes. Tony Pepitone

Education: B.S. & M.S. University of Dayton. Has been a guitar instructor at U.D. for 25yrs. Has also performed with Dayton Philharmonics and Kenly Players. Also has played for Sammy Davis Jr., Della Reese, Roger Williams, Gordon McCrae, Four Freshman and Florence Henderson. Instrument: Guitar

Dale Crockett

Dale has been playing guitar for 25 years. He has studied classical guitar with Stuart Hayes who has a master's degree in classical guitar performance, Tony Pepitone who is also with theBRDhouse, Craig Brooks with the Brothers in Arms Band, Mike Harris of Arch Rival, Eric Loy a fingerstyle jazz player. Dale is incredibly proficient in many styles including classical, rock, and blues. He has been teaching with theBRDhouse/Dayton Band for over 5 years.

Steven Michael

Steven studied acoustic and electric guitar with instructors such as Dave Taulbey and Dave Hurley (Lead guitarist of Groove Antennae/Time Goblins). Style, Technique and Music Theory are the main priorities Steven focuses in his studies as well as his instruction to his students. Steven has played at the Christian Life Center as the lead guitarist. He has played with singer Jeff Stevens from "Stranger" and the band "Three Drops of Blood." Steven's emphasis ranges from Heavy Metal, Pop to Progressive Rock. He has experimented with custom models of guitars to get the right sound as well as creating sound effects for a unique style.

Blaine Heeter

Blaine has an Associate's degree in Music and Bachelor's in Music Performance from Bowling Green State University. He has worked as an accompanist music director for the Richmond Civic Theater and a camp counselor for the Dayton Boy's Choir. Blaine has plenty of experience and has been in many performances including a choir member in the Dayton Opera Association.
